HOW WE GOT STARTED:
The Thursday night singles' group was an answered prayer for many singles in the Marion area. In God's perfect timing, a relationship was formed with the Shepherd's Nook in Marion in an effort to organize the first "book club". During the first book club a core group joined together to form a solid foundation of singles that shared the desire to see the group become more than a book club. The name, MACS, was easily agreed upon, and the rest, as they say, is history.
VISION STATEMENT:
The members of the MACS are Christian Singles of various ages and professions who desire to meet new people and serve our community as we support one another in our faith walks.
OUR PRAYER:
Jesus, we desire to be your Servants as we enjoy getting to know one another. To glorify You in all we say and do. To be Involved in our community and one another's lives in a Non-judgmental way in an effort to share You with those who may not know You. By the Grace of God we will impact our community and be pleasing in Your sight. It is our hope that "they will know we are Christians by our Love". It is our desire to lead by Example and see Your kingdom grow through the good news of Salvation. We ask for Your blessings in our efforts as we lay these petitions at your feet.
